Mrs. Fallow is teaching fourth grade this year because she has loved this grade level best and decided to teach in Morenci because she used to live in Clifton but now lives here and loves it.

Mrs. Fallow has a husband, a little girl who’s four, a one year old son, plus two dogs.

Mrs. Fallow went to elementary, and high school at Clifton, plus went to college at EAC and Western New Mexico, where she got her teaching degree.

Mrs. Fallow likes to read, camp, take photos, and walk on her free time. She has also always wanted to go to Europe, travel its countries, and try new foods.

Mrs. Fallow is a great teacher, loves what she does, her classes will always love her, and I’ll think she’ll go far.

Ms. Patricia Waltrip has taught second grade for 11 years. She wanted to come to a school with top quality students and teachers.

She has a dog named Peaches. Her favorite food is pizza and her favorite drink is Dr. Pepper.

She really likes to sing and play the guitar. Miss Waltrip has a dream to go to New York someday.

It was my honor to interview Mrs. Saenz. Her favorite food is green chili enchiladas. Yum! Her favorite drink is lemonade.

Some of her hobbies and favorite things to do are shopping and spending time with her family. Mrs. Saenz likes to collect jewelry and animal prints.

Her daughter’s name is Mireya and she is in 7th grade. She also has a son named Derek in 2nd grade.

If Mrs. Saenz could go anywhere, she would like to travel to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Their family has a Miniature Schnauzer named Princess.

The reason her family moved to Morenci is because her husband had a job in Morenci and their family wanted to be closer.

It was my opportunity to interview Mrs. Chavez, the new art teacher at Fairbanks School. She had a lot of interesting information about her schooling.

The reason she chose to teach in Morenci is because she grew up here. Mrs. Chavez started off studying culinary arts in college.  She taught at the high school in Morenci for two years.

She and her husband Eric have one child and one dog.

Her favorite food is pizza and her favorite drink is tea.

One of Mrs. Chavez’s hobbies is collecting baseball cards. She would send them to the player on the card to get them autographed.

Mrs. Chavez and her husband have always dreamed of going on an Alaskan Cruise!

Mrs. Loya is a new 2nd Grade teacher for our school. This is her first year of teaching and she loves teaching 2nd Grade.

Mrs. Loya is a graduate of Northern Arizona University and did her student teaching here in Morenci for Mrs. Herbert, a 3rd Grade teacher.

Mrs. Loya is married to Randy Loya who is a police officer. They have two daughters; one is 5 and the other is 1.

Mrs. Loya has always wanted to go to France. Her favorite food is Italian food.

I think Mrs. Loya will be a great teacher and I am looking forward to having her teach in our school.

I interviewed Mrs. King, a brand new teacher to Fairbanks Elementary School.

She wanted to become a teacher to be a positive effect on children. She decided to be a teacher in Morenci because this is where she is from. She is a fourth grade teacher because she enjoys the upper grade level and thinks they are fun.

She and her husband, Jeff have one child named Ryan. She also has two dogs named Dixie and Tank.

Her favorite food is Mexican food. Mrs. King likes to exercise, spend time with family, crochet, and read books.

A goal of hers is to visit every region in North America.

I interviewed Mr. Ruland, who is a new teacher to Fairbanks Elementary. Mr. Ruland has heard of our school before and always heard good things about it. He went to Eastern Arizona College before he studied at a University.

He has been married for 17 ½ years. He and his wife have three children. Rebecca is 13, Jakob is 5, and they are in the process of adopting Roslien.

Mr. Ruland likes Dr. Pepper and hamburgers. His hobbies include playing the guitar.

A dream of his has been to race in Nascar, but he loves teaching. He would also to travel to Hawaii.

I was lucky enough to interview Mr. Adams. He came here because he thought Morenci was a really cool school district. He had looked at our website and thought it was neat.

He has a little dog that’s his little friend he always plays with. He said that he has LOTS of favorite foods but he couldn’t decide, so he just said Chinese food is his favorite.

He likes to do karaoke (he has a great voice) and read books.  He also likes playing video games.

Lastly, the one thing he has always wanted to do is be on Broadway. We are glad he decided to come to our school.

I interviewed the new preschool director, Miss Dusty. She loves her job. She teaches because she loves to help kids.

Her husband’s name is Ben. She has one daughter named Katie.

Miss Dusty loves dogs and cats. She used to have four dogs. She loves to go to the movies and running. She has been in three races. She collects cups from other states.

One of her dreams is to travel. She has always wanted to travel.
